Bond Rees process servers work on a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week basis and can serve any legal document or court papers in any area of the United Kingdom within required timescales including examples such as:
Bond Rees adhere to legal service requirements and conduct all process serving with respect and awareness of the responsibility and consequence of this role and we also accommodate any personal or individual needs into our process for our clients.
Bond Rees will carry out three in person attendances at the home or primary serving location to provide process serving and will verify proof of identity prior to service, but if the home address fails to result in process service, our process servers will make further visit attempts at other locations such as a place of work or home of a partner, relative, or friend.
Our private investigator will make use of legitimate tactics to encourage contact If the defendant is deemed to be present at the address but not engaging with service, and if it is apparent that a defendant has absconded or relocated, we can also assist with person or debtor tracing services to resolve this issue.
In the uncommon event that we are unable to conclude service, Bond Rees will provide our client with all required information and evidence to assist with application for third-party or substituted service and minimise delay to proceedings.
Once process serving has been successfully carried out, we will let our client know and issue them with all required official confirmation and verification of this such as a statement of service.
What information does a process server need?
Any information you can provide will be helpful and potentially enable faster process serving to be completed; as well as the basic information of full name and address it can be beneficial to have the date of birth, any other known locations they attend, a current photograph, and any details of known risks such as violence or drug use.
Don’t worry if you only have minimal information, however, as our professional process servers are able to make a start on your service with minimum details.
What happens if you cannot find the defendant to serve papers?
Bond Rees are determined process servers and will try other addresses or locations that the defendant may be at if they evade service at their home address.
If the defendant has moved or relocated or gone into hiding, Bond Rees are able to provide person tracing and debtor tracing as an additional service to resolve this.
In the rare event that we are unable to serve the defendant in person, we will assist our client to gain consent for third-party or substituted service and proceedings will not be affected other than perhaps experiencing some slight delay.
Do I need to hire a professional process server?
Some legal papers must be served in person and with correct procedure applied. Using a professional process server ensures this is carried out correctly and adequately evidenced so there can be no denial of this by the other party of defendant and reduces risk of conflict or incident between parties.
In certain situations, such as the serving of a non-molestation or restraining order there is potential risk posed of harm and potential breach if an individual attempts to deliver this themselves and hiring a professional process server removes such risk.
What locations do you provide a professional process server in?
Bond Rees cover the whole of the United Kingdom with branches located throughout including a local Kensington office, and can provide an experienced process server wherever you require.
