Our Process

Following hiring being agreed and relevant documents are in our possession, Bond Rees process servers will carry out a first service attempt at the primary or home address immediately; we will conduct 3 visits overall to this address to attempt process serving.

If the primary or home address fails to result in successful process serving, we will persist with other premises that offer opportunity for service such as a workplace or home of a partner or family member or other advised or indicated locations.

If we ascertain that the defendant or recipient is present at the address but not complying with service, we will utilise legally compliant techniques to promote service, and if it turns out that a defendant has relocated, we can also provide person or debtor tracing services as requested.

On the uncommon occasion that we do not achieve complete service, Bond Rees will ensure all required reports and proof are provided to our client to assist with gaining approval for third-party or substituted service and will help in any way we can to prevent avoidable delay to proceedings.

Once our professional process servers have concluded service, we will inform our client and issue all verification of this such as a statement of service or sworn affidavit as required.
