Process Server FAQs

What if you cannot serve my legal document?

This will not mean that proceedings have to terminate as there are many other options available if initial service attempts fail; we can try to serve legal papers at an alternative address or consent can be gained for substituted service where papers are provided to another named person or notice of service can be issued via other means in extreme situations.

Why do I need to hire a professional process server?

Hiring a professional removes the risks associated with you having to serve legal documents yourself such as conflict or aggression, ensures that process serving is undertaken correctly, and provides you with the necessary level of evidence that service has been completed so the recipient is unable to challenge this fact.

Will you provide evidence that my documents have been served?

Bond Rees professional process servers will ensure that you receive all relevant documentation and confirmation such as a statement of service confirming that service has been undertaken and can also obtain photographic evidence if you need this.

Can process serving be done via email?

Certain legal documents need to be delivered in person with proof of identity being obtained from the defendant or recipient, and evidence provided that service has been undertaken so cannot be completed via email.
