Case Study: Tracing a Missing Father in Bangkok, Thailand 

A client came to Bond Rees in March 2024 looking for help locating a missing father last known to be living in Bangkok, Thailand. The missing father worked as a chef at a restaurant in Watthana, Bangkok but the client had no success in contacting him or his workplace, growing concerned the client reached out to Bond Rees for our missing person tracing services. 

The Investigation

With the information we were given, our agents used our telephone tracing to detect the last known signal of the father’s phone number to be in Sai Mai, with this lead our agents set out to find more information on the the phone number. Reaching out to local contacts and authorities in the area the missing father had not been seen, leading our agents to assume the father had a new telephone number.

We then focused the investigation on the father’s last known workplace hiring detectives to visit the restaurant in Watthana, Bangkok. Our detectives learned from the employees that the father had left the workplace temporarily to visit a friend in Krabi and had recently gotten a new phone number as his phone was stolen. We requested the father’s contact information on behalf of his daughter (our client) to which he accepted and passed on to our detectives. 

The Results: 

Successfully passing on the missing father’s contact details to the client, they were able to open up a line of communication to which both were pleased to have rekindled their relationship. The Father later travelled back from Thailand to the UK to spend time with his daughter.
