We were recently contacted by a client in Exeter who needed us to tail her husband on his recent trip to Bristol. A year before this, her husband had frequently travelled to Bristol, stating that he was playing golf with his friends. However, he abruptly stopped these trips without explanation. The fact that he had resumed the trips and his phone was regularly turned off, making him unavailable for long periods of time, raised suspicions for our client.

What we did 

We agreed to follow the husband over a 2-day period as he drove to Bristol. Once in Bristol, it became clear that he had no intention of golfing and didn’t go anywhere near a golf course. Instead, he pulled into a bar in a country house and sat in the beer garden for several hours with a female acquaintance.
